European League Against Rheumatism (EULAR):  The European counterpart to the American College of Rheumatology (ACR), EULAR works hard year around to ensure diseases are researched & treatments are available for those who need them.   EULAR is coming back for their 5th year, but their 1st as a Nonprofit Race Team (prior they were an information Kiosk).  Fire up that engine, EULAR is ready to win WAAD17!

Canadian Spondylitis Association:  The CSA has also been a supporter of this event from its' inception in 2012 - and now they have a bigger social media presence than ever before so there's no stopping this team from driving awareness to 1,000's!  Do you have spondylitis?  This may be a team for you to support this year!

Arthritis New Zealand: Welcome back our New Zealand friends for another round on the track!  They are ready to peel out and burn some rubber - are you going to help them drive to victory?

National Ankylosing Spondylitis Society (NASS): NASS has been with WAAD since the beginning and they are back in 2017 to race for AS awareness.  If you or someone you know has AS, make sure to choose NASS as one of your teams in WAAD17!




Kiosk participants are those who cannot, or choose not to, be part of WAAD as an Official Race Team.  This may be because they are a government entity, do not have a social media presence, or are not a nonprofit.  But they are still interested in spreading awareness and sharing resources!  Click on their Kiosk images to learn more about these groups!

Lupus & Allied Diseases Association, Inc: Led by WAAD16 Hero Winner, Kathleen Arntsen, LADA is already leading the way for advocacy & public policy in the USA

Arthritis Foundation (USA):  Racing for the 2nd year in a row, this team is a favorite to place in 2017.  Let's see if you can help make that happen!

Foundation for Sarcoidosis Research:3New to WAAD in 2016, FSR is ready to put the pedal to the metal.  Are you planning to be part of Team FSR?

Sjögren’s Syndrome Foundation:  A crowd favorite and WAAD participant since 2012, the SSF is looking to regain their 4th place status in WAAD15. 




International Still's Disease Foundation: Still's Disease supporters, this team's for you!  ISDF only has a public twitter - not a public Facebook page, so they will really need your help to post and tag @StillsDisease with the #WAAD17 hashtag during the event in order to gain extra miles!

CreakyJoints/Global Healthy Living Foundation:  Last year CJ's took 4th place, passing IFAA in the last leg of the race.  Will they move up the ranks in 2017?

National Data Bank for Rheumatic Diseases: The NDB was one of the first teams to get their car back on the tracks for 2017, and they are revving their engines in the hopes of placing in the top 5 this year.  Will this be your team?

Lupus UK:  A crowd favorite each year, participating since the original WAAD12!  Always supportive of this event and great resources to share in the WAAD17Program.




IFAA: An International Foundation for Autoimmune & Autoinflammatory diseases with Arthritis as a major component, are the Hosts of #WAAD17, 5th place winner in WAAD15, 4th place winner in WAAD16

Arthritis Consumer Experts/Joint Health:  Canadian fire cracker, Cheryl Koehn, is team captain and she's ready to squeal out from the start line!

American Autoimmune Related Diseases Association (AARDA): A crowd favorite, no doubt - while AARDA has not yet placed in the top 5 they always give the teams a run for the trophy.  Will 2017 be their year?

National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society (NRAS):  NRAS is the only nonprofit in the world dedicated to Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) so if you have RA this is a team you will want to cheer on!  They have placed 2nd in WAAD15 and WAAD16 - is this the year they take it all?​

American Behcet's Disease Association (ABDA):  Double awareness for Behcet's Disease during WAAD17 because the 20th is also BD Awareness Day!  Let's burn rubber and get BD awareness out there!
