Arthritis Foundation (USA):The Arthritis Foundation USA is back in action for 2018, after placing 4th in WAAD17.  They are certainly a crowd favorite!www.arthritis.org 

Relapsing Polychondritis Awareness & Support Foundation Thiis small but mighty community has placed in almost every official WAAD race.  They demand awareness, so we expect nothing less than a crowd-pleasing performance again in 2018! http://www.polychondritis.org

National Ankylosing Spondylitis Society (NASS):  NASS has been with WAAD since the beginning and they are back in 2018 to race for AS awareness.  If you or someone you know has AS, make sure to choose NASS as one of your teams in WAAD17! http://nass.co.uk/

The goal for 'winning' #WAAD18 is to collectively, as a community, drive 100,000 'miles' of awareness globally.  However, we also recognize those teams that really went all out to ensure awareness is fueled to next levels.  Therefore, in addition to a community celebration of our collaborative success, the top three Nonprofit and Patient Advocate Teams will "win" the event.  They will receive:

  • Feature in the #WAAD18 report, distributed to various stakeholders (including patients, pharmaceutical, and non-pharmaceutical partners.


Winners of both the Blogger/Support Group Race and the Nonprofit Race will be announced online, May 21st at 1pm EST/USA on the official WAAD Facebook and Twitter pages.

The Official 2018 Nonprofit Race Teams have started warming up to participate in the Official #WAAD18 Race to Fuel AwarenessThey have united with dozens of others, including the Official Patient Advocate Race Teams,  to collectively raise our goal of 100,000 awareness miles during this 47 hour online, virtual AUTO race.  Learn more about how you can help them 'drive' awareness...and potentially WIN WAAD18!
